Hope Veasey, CRNP

Hope Veasey, CRNP is a dedicated and board-certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Auburn University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and furthered her expertise by completing a Master’s degree in nursing from the same institution in 2022. Her professional journey is deeply rooted in her personal experiences and her love for her community.

Growing up in Andalusia, Hope was inspired to enter the medical field after her grandfather underwent open heart surgery due to a late-diagnosed heart condition. Witnessing his struggles and being involved in his aftercare fueled her interest in healthcare. This personal journey led her to work at Andalusia Health and perform her clinical training in her hometown, allowing her to give back to the community she cherishes.

Hope’s passion for pediatrics was significantly influenced by her admiration for her pediatrician, Dr. Charles Eldridge. Her experience as a graduate nurse in a pediatric clinic cemented her desire to specialize in this field, and she considers pediatrics her calling. Hope is committed to providing comprehensive care to children from birth through young adulthood, emphasizing the importance of preventative measures such as routine wellness checks, vaccinations, and anticipatory guidance.

She believes in empowering patients through education, encouraging them to ask questions and take an active role in their health. Hope’s approach is rooted in the belief that everyone knows their own body best, and she strives to create a supportive environment where her patients and their families feel informed and valued.
